Job Duties/Responsibilities:
SOLID SURFACE FABRICATION TECHNICIAN
• 2+ years of experience in the fabrication and installation of solid surface countertops, sills, custom parts. Including build-ups, hard-seaming, profiling and sanding.
• Knowledge of thermoforming a plus.
• Knowledge of basic construction methods of cabinets a plus. Will train.
• The ability to read construction plans and drawings
• Must have own set of basic hand tools of the trade
• Opportunities for Prevailing Wage work in the field are available on a job by job basis
• Pay based on experience
OVERALL REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Have a strong quality related work ethic to minimize rework
• Keep work area and tools organized and clean
• Strong communication skills, reading, writing, speaking
• Smart phone for timecard documentation
• Work with a safety-oriented mindset
• Must have own set of basic hand tools of the trade
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings, including background checks
• Must be physically able to lift and carry 75+ pounds
• A valid NM driver’s license with a clean driving record to drive our vehicles (Required for Installer position, Preferred for all others.)
JOB TYPE: Full time
• Holiday pay
• Personal Time off pay
• Work hours 7:00AM to 3:30 PM Monday to Friday with occasional overtime requirements.
