Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and/or commercial framing, with the ability to build structural frameworks accurately and efficiently. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Construct and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roof systems
Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and construction drawings
Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials
Install sheathing, subflooring, and structural components
Ensure all framing is level, square, and meets building codes
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Work closely with other trades and crew members on job sites
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately
Strong knowledge of framing techniques and materials
Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in residential, commercial, or multi-family construction
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
Ability to work overtime or flexible hours as needed
