Edith Appliance is hiring a dependable Delivery Driver / Appliance Installer to join our growing team. We are a well-established and highly reputable appliance business serving Albuquerque for over 8 years.
Position Information
• Pay: $20 per hour plus tips
Raises annually on start date.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Location: 4129 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107

Job Responsibilities
• Safely deliver and install household appliances
• Operate 25’ box trucks or trucks with trailers, a lot of driving. Must be safe. Cameras.
• Call customers prior to delivery and provide estimated arrival times
• Read work orders and follow efficient delivery routes using GPS
• Load and unload appliances and scrap metal safely
• Install dryer cords and test appliances after installation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe delivery vehicle
• Provide professional and friendly customer service
• Follow all safety procedures at all times
*Clean appliances, Move appliances, install, and any labor needed around store as needed. We clean, maintain, fix, build on our property. So not every day will be the same. We have built fences, repaired roofs, decks, gazebos, paint, fix maintain anything and everything as needed.
Qualifications
• Prior delivery and/or appliance installation experience a plus but not required.
• Clean driving record (no DWIs, no felonies). We drive big trucks and are in peoples homes.
• Valid driver’s license
• Must pass drug screening (random testing conducted annually)
• Ability to lift and move appliances using a dolly/hand truck, including stairs when needed
• Two-person teams are always used for heavy or upstairs deliveries
• Must supply basic hand tools
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
• Must be 18 years of age or older
