Looking for someone to help us clean, organize, and declutter our kitchen. This is a project-based job, not an hourly position.
We're looking for someone who is good at organizing, can think through what makes sense to keep vs. get rid of, and isn't afraid to help make decisions and recommendations as we go.
Some of the tasks include:
* Going through the pantry and sorting food into:
* Keep
* Expired
* Things we're realistically not going to eat
* Boxing up expired food and food we don't want to keep
* Emptying and sorting through a black shelf that we plan to get rid of
* Going through plastic storage bins and sorting their contents
* Cleaning out and organizing kitchen cabinets
* Going through pots, pans, dishes, kitchen gadgets, and other items and separating them into:
* Keep
* Donate
* Trash/disposal (broken or unusable items)
* Creating a more clean/organized system for the kitchen overall
A little background: my mother tends to fill any empty space with too many things over time, so there is a fair amount of sorting and decision-making involved. We're looking for someone who has good organizational skills, can stay focused, and can help us make practical choices about what should stay and what should go.
