These are left over wood scraps for burning outside. We don't recommend them for indoor wood stoves since most of the wood comes from pallets.
I will keep this post up for 2 weeks and then toss them in the dumpster. If you have a use for them, come and get them. I'll help you load.
Warning from Google:
some outdoor wood boilers, but it is crucial to only burn heat-treated (HT) pallets, never those treated with chemicals like methyl bromide (MB). Burning chemically treated pallets can release toxic fumes, and they are also not ideal for indoor stoves due to nails and the potential for unknown chemical treatments or contaminants.
What to look for
Heat-treated (HT) pallets: These are safe to burn. Look for an "HT" stamp on the pallet. Heat treatment kills pests without using toxic chemicals.
Clean pallets: Avoid pallets that have spills, stains, or are painted. Any spilled chemical is hazardous when burned.
Remove nails: Pallets are full of nails or staples, which are a hazard and can be difficult to clean out of a firebox.
Consider the source: If a pallet is not stamped, it's best to assume it's chemically treated and avoid burning it.
What to avoid
Chemically treated (MB) pallets: Do not burn pallets stamped with "MB," as they have been treated with methyl bromide, a toxic pesticide that releases dangerous fumes when burned.
Unknown treatment: If a pallet has no stamp, it's safer to assume it has an unknown chemical treatment and avoid burning it.
Treated lumber: Avoid burning construction lumber (like 2x4s) that is green or has a brown stain, as it has been pressure-treated with chemicals that are toxic when burned.
This video explains what you should never burn as firewood, including chemically treated pallets:

Best uses
Outdoor fires: Burning HT pallets is best for bonfires or backyard fire pits where the smoke is not directly inhaled by people inside a home.
Kindling: Pallets, especially pine, can be broken down and used as kindling to start a fire.
Outdoor wood boilers: Some outdoor wood boilers are designed to handle the heat and ash of burning pallets, but you should still check your boiler's manual.
